Description
The vintage Jeep vineyard tour in Tuscany lasts two hours and starts with an off-road ride between the vines of Poggio ai Laghi. The old Jeep follows scenic tracks to a quiet corner by a lake, where you stop for a break and for photos.
Back at the estate, a wine expert takes you into the cellar and introduces the grape varieties and their character. The tour finishes at the table with a Tuscan lunch, matched with the estate's wines, olive oils and vinegars. The tasting covers six wines, two sparkling and four red:
- Arella and Firmina, the sparkling wines
- Lucilla, a Chianti Classico DOCG
- Oletta, a Chianti Riserva DOCG
- Aranda, a Supertuscan
You also taste three olive oils (classic extra virgin, white truffle and chili pepper) and two vinegars, a Balsamic Vinegar of Modena and a red onion one.
Lunch begins with Tuscan cold cuts, finocchiona, prosciutto, pecorino, and bruschetta. Lasagna with meat ragù follows, then roasted pork loin with potatoes, and cantuccini with Vin Santo to finish. Mention any dietary needs before booking. Pick-up and drop-off and tips are not included.
