Description
A Chianti classic car tour from Florence puts you behind the wheel of a real vintage car, rather than a seat on a coach. After a short briefing you leave Florence and head into the Chianti countryside, following a tour leader in a separate car at the front, who stays available all day.
The road runs through rolling hills, vineyards and cypress-lined stretches, and the itinerary reaches medieval San Gimignano, where you can admire its landmarks and viewpoints. Along the way there are stops for photos, for gelato and for lunch in a panoramic spot among the vines. It is a private outing and fills much of the day.
