Description
This Val d'Orcia wine tour from Siena fills a whole day with cypress-lined roads, golden hills and villages of the Middle Ages. Round-trip transport and a multilingual tour leader are included, and you meet outside Siena railway station.
The route crosses the UNESCO-listed Val d'Orcia to Montepulciano, a hill town known for its wines. At a traditional winery you taste wines with a guide, then sit down to a full Tuscan lunch with wine pairing, in which pici and cheeses appear. The tasting covers four wines, among them Nobile di Montepulciano and Brunello.
