Description
This Pisa and San Gimignano day trip from Siena packs three Tuscan highlights into about ten hours, travelling by air-conditioned coach with a multilingual tour leader.
The first stop is the Chianti wine region. At a traditional winery among the vines you taste local Chianti wines, with a lunch of fresh regional products and more local wine.
After lunch the coach continues to San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage town known for its medieval towers. The free time is yours to wander the cobbled streets, browse craft shops, look at the old squares or stop for gelato. The afternoon is for Pisa. In Piazza dei Miracoli you have free time to see the Leaning Tower, the Cathedral and the Baptistery, and to take photos. The tower is seen from outside, as tickets for climbing it are not included. On the way back to Siena the coach passes through Florence, and you arrive in the evening.
