Description
The Greve in Chianti wine tasting happens at the Nozzole Estate, in the hills of Greve in Chianti. A live guide leads you through the barrique cellar and then to the museum of past vintages, which keeps the best bottles the Folonari estates have made from 1980 until now.
Then comes the glass. The guide pours three Chianti Classico wines: the estate's own Chianti Classico, the Riserva called La Forra and the Giovanni Folonari Gran Selezione. For each one you learn how to read colour, aroma and taste, and why Sangiovese takes the lead.

Allow about an hour and a half. Dogs are welcome, though they stay out of the barrel room for hygiene reasons. The experience is not suited to wheelchair users, to vegans, vegetarians or people with food allergies, gluten or lactose intolerance, or to guests over 70.
