Description
This cooking class in Montalcino begins gently, with a coffee or cappuccino and something sweet, so you settle in before the work starts. Then an expert guides your hands through a practical workshop on homemade pasta.
You prepare the dough and turn it into different shapes: classic tagliatelle, ready for rich Tuscan sauces, and delicate tortelli, which you learn to fold around a filling. The last lesson is tiramisù, with tricks to get the right texture and flavour. Afterwards everyone sits down to a shared lunch of the dishes just made. At the end you receive a personalised apron from the villa and a diploma.
If you choose the wine option, the lunch comes with a guided tasting of Brunello di Montalcino produced by the winery on site: two glasses of Brunello and one of Brunello Riserva. A sommelier explains how the land shapes the scents and aromas of each. This part is optional and is not part of the standard booking.
- Fresh pasta (tagliatelle and tortelli) and tiramisù
- Lunch with the dishes you cooked
- Apron and diploma
- Optional Brunello tasting with a sommelier
The class lasts about three hours. Tell the organisers about any food allergies or intolerances when you book. Transport to the venue is not included.
