Description
An olive oil tour near Siena that starts with a glass of rosé and the story of the family who runs the mill. From there the visit moves outdoors, into the grove, where you hear how the trees are grown, harvested and looked after through the year.
Next comes the mill itself. You see how the olives become extra virgin oil, step by step, in the traditional mill. The tour lasts about 90 minutes and a live guide leads it in English or Italian.
The tasting is the centrepiece: three extra virgin oils and some flavoured ones, with tips on how to tell a good oil from an ordinary one. A light board of vegetables and bruschetta comes with homemade wines.
- Welcome rosé and the family's story
