Description
A picnic in the vineyards of San Gimignano is a slow way to spend a couple of hours: you eat and drink among the rows of Vernaccia, with the towers of the town on the horizon. At the Palagetto winery the team greets you, points out the viewpoints worth visiting and hands you your basket.
You also choose the bottle that goes with it, picking from Vernaccia, Chianti or Rosato. After that you are on your own: take the basket and the blanket and walk out to find a spot for your break.
The basket and the bottle are both yours to enjoy wherever the vines look best, and the blanket makes any spot into a table. The viewpoints on the map show where the towers appear at their clearest.
