Description
Horseback riding near Siena begins at the Polo Club Villa a Sesta, in the countryside of Castelnuovo Berardenga. If a polo match is taking place, you may be able to watch some of it before you mount. Then the guide leads you out on the trails for about an hour.
The route runs through rolling hills, vineyards and olive groves, at a pace that leaves time to look around. Your guide talks about the plants and wildlife you pass and about the history and traditions of the Siena countryside. Before setting off you get clear instructions, so you can ride with confidence even if you have never been on a horse. The horses are selected for being well trained and gentle.

- All levels welcome, from beginners to experienced riders, over 14 years old
- Helmets and riding boots provided
- Optional visits to wineries or farms for a tasting of Tuscan wine and local products
Hotel pick-up and drop-off can be arranged on request, while food and drinks are not included. Riders over 100 kg (220 lbs) and children under 14 cannot join. The ride is cancelled in case of rain.
